

This workshop is designed to introduce students to photovoltaic.
In this workshop, students work in small teams to build a solar
tracker circuit they go through various step-by-step hands-on
prerequisite activities to learn about basics of electricity, resistance,
current, voltage measurement, familiarity with the electronic
components in the circuits and electrical circuits.
Students enjoy learning to build the tracker circuit because we have
turned the workshop in a fun activity. Students feel like they are
making a puzzle and doing team-based activities. Extra bonus for
them is to see their circuit work and the motor turn the solar cell
towards the sun and follow the sun.
Program has been attended by over 75 teachers in the states of
California, Massachusetts, Texas, Colorado and Florida and has
been offered to students from schools in these states.

- $500 (+$50 if workshop broken down in two sessions)
(add $25 for commute between 20-50 miles; $50 50+ miles)
