SVEL's programs are hands-on and project-based where participants get together
in small teams and follow step-by-step guide to complete projects.
Our programs are designed to introduce students to electricity, electrical circuits and
photovoltaic. Inputs were taken from over 75 teachers and several students that
have participated in our workshops in California, Colorado, Texas, Florida,
Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Students and teachers alike find it fun to attend our workshops. We have made
learning fun even for abstract concepts such as electrical circuits. While learning to

1) Foundation programs to help students (5th-12th grades) understand basics of a
subject:
Program #1: Hands-on program in basic electricity and Ohm's law.
2) Educational training programs to help students (8th-12th grades) get familiar with
post high school education:

We offer:
a) After school and in school workshops (offered in extended bay area & north east)
b) Private workshops for students (offered in extended bay area and north east)
c) Train-the-teacher workshops (offered nation wide)
d) Programs are being integrated by schools. They include professionally
developed toolkit and curriculum (aligned to national and various state education
